This is my arrangement of a Welsh song translated into English which I heard many years ago when it was one of the songs in a series on the radio called ‘Singing Together’. It is usually sung at a more frantic tempo than this, but I feel that the subtlety of the melody is lost at the faster pace, so I have slowed it down and in doing so may have altered the rhythm slightly too. The lyrics I am singing are not those from the Singing Together version but rather a version sung by ‘The King’s Singers’.
